Less than two days to the end of Nanowrimo. Not an easy year, despite the excitement I felt. Shayanna was not a very cooperative heroine and Shou Lung seemed to be more excited about being the star than she was. So, I've had to struggle with the story. Right now I'm entering my stuff into the computer so I can get the words verified by the counting system. Hope to have it done in time.
Derek took until this week to get really excited about his story. Wrote over 1000 words in one day and decided it was time to write the story. So, I had to decrease his word count down to 2500 so he could have a more reasonable goal in such a short time. He's about 1000 words from that goal. Shouldn't be a problem.
Micaela lost total interest early on. She's agreed to once again do 1000 words, so I decreased her count down, but we're still about 500 words from the goal.
Not as good a month as I was hoping it would be. The kids were not the writing partners I expected and there was just a whole lot of stuff going on this month. There's always next year though.

I think the most notable thing here is that you all did write. If you take away the goals for a minute, you'll realize that you have accomplished, you know?
