2007 So Far, Part 2

Working on Shay's and Shou Lung's story still. Not going very smoothly, but I'll work through it.

I have received my second lesson back from my instructor at Long Ridge. She loved the scene I sent her, stating "Writing is clear and smooth and the dialogue is terrific". She even specified where she liked the dialogue the best. She did give me some good suggestions and I just need to sit down and put those into effect before I work on lesson 3. Yes, lesson 3 without a rewrite requested for lesson 2. Kudos to me!

I thought about it very hard, read a couple of articles and decided I was trying to force my writing into one specific genre that it may not necessarily fit. So I've decided I'm going to try the Romance/Fantasy genre, instead of the other way around. Putting the romance first may make it a bit easier to get my writing published.

Terry and I have decided that if I can't find a publisher for Cora's story by June 30, we will self-publish it. So, if you're interested, we will be putting it out one way or another. Let me know if you want a copy. I'll post where it will be available when it is.
